Hey guys! I hope your holidays went well.
With everyone back to work and school (including me, yes, I am also a full-time communications student while covering Inter Miami), the Herons have had a busy last few days in the winter transfer window.
Let’s look at all the news, rumors, and confirmed signings we know of so far.

On December 31st, 2024, Inter Miami announced the signing of Miami native, and Haitian international Fafà Picault to a one-year contract.
Picault, an MLS veteran with over 200 games under his belt, joined Miami after a stint with the Vancouver Whitecaps where he had a combined 17 G/A in 40 appearances as a winger.

According to César Luis Merlo, Inter Miami will continue to reinforce their attack with the signing of 25-year-old Argentine winger, Tadeo Allende.
Allende is out of favor at Celta Vigo and is probably looking for more playing time.
With the exits of Diego Gomez, Leonardo Campana, and Matias Rojas, Miami’s front office will be retooling the wings with Allende’s presence.
Defensive Reinforcements Incoming, with Gonzalo Lujan
Another report from Merlo states that Inter Miami will be signing defender Gonzalo Lujan from San Lorenzo.
The 23-year-old will be much-needed cover at center back and right-back for a Miami defensive line that struggled with injuries last season.
Is Facundo Farias Off to The Races?
Could Facundo Farias be leaving Inter Miami?
According to German Garcia Grova, Racing Club is currently negotiating with Miami to acquire Farias’ services. In return, Miami would obtain 21-year-old midfielder Baltasar RodrÃguez.
While Farias is a fan favorite, with Mascherano at the helm, it’s evident that the 40-year-old is shifting the roster’s makeup, opting to bring in players he knows well (ex-U20 manager).
Adding on, a swap for RodrÃguez may be advantageous for Miami.
The youngster looks to be a top talent who would gel well with Miami’s current midfield:
