Introducing Marcelo Weigandt: Inter Miami's Latest Argentine Coup

After making his Inter Miami debut against NYCFC on Saturday, right-back Marcelo Weigandt was officially unveiled to the press on April 1st.
“Chelo” as he’s so affectionately nicknamed stood out on the pitch as he donned the pink and black for the first time.
Though Miami couldn’t nab the win over a lackluster NYCFC side, Weigandt held his own in attack and defense. The 24-year-old ended the game with two chances created, two big chances created, four recoveries, and 80% of his aerial duels won.
As Miami looks to add more silverware to their trophy cabinet, expect Weigandt to play a major role in that process:
