Inter Miami has bolstered its squad with the acquisition of Paraguayan midfielder Matias Rojas.
Rojas is a fierce competitor who will bring some technical prowess and defensive hustle to the pitch, something the Herons will need to keep their top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow’s match against the New England Revolution, Rojas touched on several topics including, Messi, MLS, and more.
On….Joining Miami:
"I'm happy to be able to be here and I'm [100% settled] here."
Rojas also said he may be used in multiple positions depending on the system.
"I'm prepared and eager."
On…..Inter Miami’s Big 4:
"The caliber of the players here, they're very open and humble. I want to learn and take advantage of it."
On…..His Career Philosophy:
"My philosophy has always been now. The example of being here next to [Messi, Suarez, etc.] I try to surround myself with [players like that throughout my career.]"

"The league is top. In Paraguay, we see it as a competitive league."

"I was well received. You could tell that from the video. Everyone is very humble."
