This is just what they needed. What a win. Excellent analysis as always.

I mostly agree with the ratings except for Callendar who got the lowest from the starters. Its true that he didn't do much, but he also didn't have to do anything, and he did not make any mistakes. Might be a bit harsh to be penalized for not facing danger LoL.

Also, Why do you think that Aviles is injured? Unless its something that I have not seen, I only saw that Tata said he took him out because he was tired and didn't want to take a risk. I hope he and Busi are fine.

Aviles got a knock in 2 half i think. Love Drake but he seems good for 1 WTF pass a game at least.

Hey Bassam! Yes, I think the 6.5 was moreso not because he played poorly but because, like you said, he didn't face a ton of shots. I gave him a 6.5 because he did what he needed and we didn't see him much. Perhaps a seven would've been more appropriate! I always like to think of a 5 being average, and anything higher than that is above!

As far as Aviles, he was feeling some hamstring tightness but he should be okay. We'll probably see Freire start against the Galaxy. Busquets is the same.

I forgot how much I missed watching MLS and this Inter Miami team when they're playing hungry. Last night was so enjoyable and encouraging to witness. Of course, there were some crushing moments when Suarez and Messi came up short on their multiple scoring chances -- I think we all just want to see them having fun and playing loose, but I'm sure that will come soon enough.

Hey Carlos! And I agree! I was talking to some folks from Black Herons United (a supporters group) and they said the same thing! It was refreshing to see an Inter Miami side player with that passion - for a full 90 minutes!

Captain Obvious here to point out giving the ball away in own half repeatedly a bad look. Hope can clean that up

It absolutely is and something that Tata mentioned in the post match conference. It's something they'll work on!

excellent assessment. quick question, are the new salmon-colored IMCF uniforms as ugly in person as on TV?

Hey Peter! I actually quite like the color. They get darker when the players sweat!

ok. based on your opinion, i'll reserve judgement for now to see if the new color grows on me.

Uniforms are better in person, but I prefer last year's shade. @Alex - I think you should grade Tata too. I personally think he should have substituted earlier, but was pleased he started Taylor. I think his speed adds a dimension that is needed with Suarez and Messi. I thought Luis played hard and had opportunities. I am a big critics of Gomez, but he hustled, played well and finally finished.
