Damn, Tata is big mad. Hopefully they learn from this, hopefully Freire gets back soon, and hopefully the rest of the season is played on nice sunny days (Taylor playing in a cat 5 hurricane made me laugh out loud, love these recaps).

Thanks for reading, haha!

It was just one of those games where everything went wrong. We’re going to have those so I’m not too worried. We’ll get it back for the CCC.

Yeah, I do think the terrible conditions had a part to do with it as well. CCC seems like the team's main focus at the moment.

Inter Miami didn't want to play the game and played like it. That about sums it up.

Tata never takes accountability. Why start two statues up top with that makeshift midfield? The team needs more vertical threats, sell Campana or Borgelin for someone with speed.

One of the two "statues" that started up top is the second highest scorer in the league right now, so.

Fine with one, but not two at the same time.

That was rough. I am absolutely not feeling Tata’s demeanor. I feel like he’s the opposite of someone like Coach Spo who almost always takes accountability and makes zero excuses regardless of the circumstances. Tata seems like a total front runner who blames the players despite having world-class talent still in the XI. NYRB was missing their starting keeper, Forsberg, Tolkin, and Edelman.

This match should’ve been a road W. I worry about his job if he can’t get past Monterrey. Maybe this is all pomp for the media and he’ll coach his guys up in private, but I have my doubts.

Having ranted, I’m not going to take away too much from the game as I still think we compete for 3C and MLS Cup with a full squad.

I think that the fanbase needs to...have some nuance and not catastrophize everything after every loss. It's better for your mental health, lol
